The annual flu season is now well underway:
Patients who are over 65 or suffer from Diabetes, Chronic Heart Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Stroke/TIA, Asthma, COPD, Immunosuppression, or are unpaid carers
Appointments are still available for patients who are over 65 or in the 'at risk' groups mentioned above, who have not had their flu jab yet. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment to have your free flu jab.
2 - 5 year olds
Children aged between 2 years and 5 years (who do not already attend school) will be eligible to have flu immunisation at the surgery this year. For most children this will be in the form of a nasal vaccine. Letters with information letters are being sent out to the patients/carers of eligible children at the moment. Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment for your child/children.
Patients who qualify for shingles vaccination this year will already have received a letter from the surgery (or will be sent one shortly). Please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment. If you haven't already had your flu jab, you can have it at the same time.
